Senior Men take 6-0 record into next round

After Round One in Group B, our Senior Men’s Team stay perfect taking a 6-0 record into the next round of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Game 1 was taking on hosts Rwanda with a win securing an early place into the next round. Firing on all cylinders created a double digit lead for the majority of the game but Rwanda rallied behind the home crowd to make it a close encounter towards the end with a 73-63 win.

The following day was the big test vs reigning AfroBasket 2021 champions, Tunisia. With an incredible performance outclassing the reigning African champions we took a a 15-point victory of 76-51.

The final game of Group B was facing Cameroon which always is a physical encounter. The game resulted in a 67-56 win and taking a 6-0 record into the next round top of the group.

Round Two sees our Senior Men go into Group F with Senegal, Congo DR & Egypt with the first round of games taking place between 26-28 February.
