MEN’S TEAM BACK AT AFROBASKET QUALIFIERS

The SSD National Men’s Team is gearing up to compete in the third and final window of the Afrobasket 2025 Qualifiers. The tournament will take place in the city of Rabat, Morocco, from February 21 - 23, where the bright stars will face off against —Morocco, Mali, and Congo.

President Luol Deng will return as Head Coach with a player-list consisting of both returning players and debutants. In 2021, the team emerged as underdogs with great promise in the Afrobasket qualifications. They ultimately delivered one of the most talked-about performances worldwide. Can we say encore? The final roster will be announced on February 20.
