Top Group F heading into next round

South Sudan are one step closer to making history to qualify for the World Cup 2023 sitting top of Group F on a 8-1 record.

The results from the previous round carried forward which saw South Sudan unbeaten on a 6-0 record but after defeat to Senegal it meant the team needed to regroup and get back on track. This is exactly what they did and now are back leading the group and one step closer to qualification.

The next upcoming games are from 24-26 February 2023 playing against the same opponents of Senegal, Congo DR and Egypt where the Top 2 seeds get automatic place in the World Cup 2023.

The third best placed team will be awarded the final 5th African spot to the World Cup.
