Final push keeps South Sudan undefeated.

KIGALI (Rwanda) - A delay of game for over 30-minutes occurred due to Cameroon having the wrong color jersey’s but South Sudan agreed to play the game despite the technical issue.

A scrappy encounter and slow start from both teams was finally opened up by some sharp shooting giving South Sudan a 18-9 lead after the first quarter. The physicality of Cameroon was proving to slow the tempo with a low scoring half taking a 34-24 lead.

A back and forth 3rd quarter meant for the same style of game which Cameroon was benefiting from by staying in the game only down by eight points heading into the final quarter.

To start the 4th quarter, Nuni Omot took things into his own hands with big scores to increase the lead. Then sealing the deal was sharp shooter Bul Kuol whose big 3-PT with less than 2-mins to go pushed the lead to 11-points which Cameroon had no answer.

Top Scorers: Kuol 17, Omot 17
