Back on track with huge win vs Congo
MONASTIR (Tunisia) - South Sudan needed to bounce back after the narrow defeat to Senegal the night before and they did just that.
A quick start behind Jo Lual-Acuil making his presence felt as well as intense defense limiting and frustrating Congo gave a first quarter 25-4 lead. The team were on a mission and increased the lead to 49-20 going into half-time.
The second half was much the same where South Sudan just kept piling on the points with every single player getting valuable minutes. The lead continued to grow to 71-45 at the end of the third quarter.
The final 10-mins saw Majok Deng take over and continue to score from all over the court pushing the lead to its largest with the team full of confidence going into the final game of the window vs Egypt.
